"Walk By Faith, Not By Sight" 2 Corinthians 5:7

The Life of a #Barista | 3-27-2015

Yesterday, I was talking with a co-worker about how much coffee I had had while on shift. I mean, I was pretty darn jittery. She said to me that if someone were to stab her right then, she would bleed coffee. The life of a barista.

I also worked Drive-Thru yesterday, and got to witness a blessing chain, where one car pays for the next car in line and so-on. It gave me butterflies in my stomach (the good kind) to see God’s love being shared in such an ordinary day task, such as getting your morning coffee. It brings me joy to meet such inspiring and loving people.

Working at a busy store, I meet quite a few characters. I will be using these encounters to inspire my writing and profile potential characters, for writing exercises. Soo, be sure to stay tuned for Life of a Barista.
