"Walk By Faith, Not By Sight" 2 Corinthians 5:7
Have you ever wondered what your life purpose is? Have you ever thought about trying find yourself?
Well, I’m going to tell you something, “Look in the mirror. Boom, there you are!”
Not funny? Okay, let’s get to the real talk. Finding our purpose is often associated with finding our career path, marrying the love of our life, being plain successful. While those are all great and important things, they will not bring you the full enjoyment and satisfaction of having a purpose. Why? Because out of that list, we are missing the most important thing: God.
God created man to bring Him glory and to worship Him. Though we may not understand why God created Earth (something to ask Him someday in eternity in heaven…I want to know more about dinosaurs personally), God shows and tells us through his word that we are meant to glorify him in all we do.
Glorifying him is similar to making someone proud plus sharing your love, awe, excitement, etc., about Him to everyone. We can show that in many ways, such as how we treat people at work by loving them, being aware and thankful for all we have, working diligently, as if God were your employer, exclaiming to the heavens His wonderous works, and more.
Some examples from the bible include those praising God for his miracles that his son Jesus Christ performed, Noah obeying God and trusting him when the flood came, David and his psalms. The list goes on.
I guarantee that by glorifying God in all you do, you will find your purpose and meaning in life, and you will be filled with joy!!
