"Walk By Faith, Not By Sight" 2 Corinthians 5:7
http://bible.com/59/JHN3.17.ESV For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. For he whom God has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit without measure. The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
John 3:16 is a verse that is repeated so much that it oftentimes losses its meaning. It has become a common greeting within the church. But, if we study the entire chapter of John 3, we see just how profound this is. God loves us so much that He will not condemn us as long as we believe that He is the Alpha and Omega. How amazing is that? God has given us so much; eternal life, a gift we can never repay and all we have to do is believe. We don’t have to sign a contract or give 100 hours of service to a local organization. Rather, because of our new relationship we feel the need to share the news that God has sent His son and that we have been forgiven of all our sins and crappy lifestyles…all our screwups and mistakes, our lies, hate, and more. Read the bible and focus on His promises.
