"Walk By Faith, Not By Sight" 2 Corinthians 5:7

Failing Flesh, Eternal Truth

http://bible.us/59/1PE1.23.ESV since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God; for “All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, but the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you. Bible.com/app Tonight, as I read 1 Peter, I am reminded of how very mortal and weak we are as humans. Our flesh, like grass, will die, meaning that it will fail…we won’t be in our human body forever, but God’s word, that being the bible and Truth lasts for all eternity. By believing this, we are promised a life of eternity in heaven, with our heavenly Father, away from sin, and fleshly things that will make us wither, or ugly. Praise God for His unfailing love for us! I pray that I will better seek God’s word and rely on His strength to overcome what makes my flesh wither like the flower.
